The Auditorium seats 180 in fixed chairs and is available for lectures, seminars, and meetings. A nominal maintenance fee reserves this meeting space. A small conference room seats 25 in classroom style or can accommodate up to 40 with no tables. Food and drinks are allowed in the conference room, and an adjacent kitchenette is also available. There is no fee to reserve and use the conference room

Aurora Hills Branch Library was founded in 1926 by the Jefferson Women's Club, was then presented to Aurora Hills Garden Club and finally to the Nellie Custis School PTA. In 1930, the County Board of Supervisors purchased and remodeled a store at 23rd and Eads Street for the library and renamed it the Martha Morton Duncan Library in honor of County Supervisor Edward Duncan's mother. One of the library's earliest volunteers recalled that she moved to the neighborhood in 1935 when one joined the library by donating a book.

This places has the most inconvenient hours. Most days, it's not even open until the afternoon and it's closed by the time most people get home from work. Additionally, this is an extremely small branch with a horrible selection of books.
