Natural Bridges State Beach
This beach, with its famous natural bridge, is an excellent vantage point for viewing shore birds, migrating whales, and seals and otters playing offshore. Further along the beach, tidepools offer a glimpse of life beneath the sea. Low tides reveal sea stars, crabs, sea anemones, and other colorful ocean life. The park also includes a large area of coastal scrub meadows, with bright native wildflowers in the spring. Moore Creek flows down to the ocean through these meadows, forming a wetlands in the sand.

Santa Cruz Yacht Club
The Santa Cruz Yacht Club was founded on the Santa Cruz Municipal Wharf in 1928 and was moved to its present location in 1964. The Santa Cruz Yacht Club is a member of the PICYA (Pacific Inter-Club Yacht Association of Northern California). First and foremost, the Santa Cruz Yacht Club exists to promote the “Good of Yachting.” Yacht Club members have been credited for inventing ultra light displacement boats (ULDB’s) that have revolutionized sailboat racing. Consequently, the club is known worldwide.
