Hostels in San Francisco
Budgeting whilst on a holiday can determine how economical the trip will be, which allows for more experiences to be enjoyed, and more presents to be brought home once the holiday is over. Instead of spending hundreds of dollars per night to stay in a fancy 4-star hotel, many tourists decided to sacrifice some creature-comforts to save some money.
The hostels in San Francisco offer a good alternative to a luxurious hotel, and if you do your research, some even include features not expected or anticipated. Home to many hostels, San Francisco is a perfect holiday place for all the backpackers, traveling on a budgeted order.
The Dakota Hostel in Union Square has en-suite rooms, something many did not think they would enjoy whilst traveling on a budget. Access to the Internet has also become another prominent feature at this place, as many of its guests want to still stay in touch with friends and family back home.
Highly recommended by Lonely Planet is the Adelaide hostel in San Francisco. Taking its name from a capital city in Australia, the Adelaide has limited beds per room, which allows for more space. Near Union Square as well, it is within walking distance of shops and tourist spots.
You can choose from the various hostel room options depending on your requirement and want. There are single rooms, double occupancy and dormitory rooms – all varying in price ranges. Besides all the daily amenities like bathrooms, dining, bed sheets and blankets etc are provided for.

Amsterdam Hostel
We stayed two nights at the Amsterdam in a private room, and it was a mixed experience. First, the good: it's reasonably well located, and the prices are okay. There are three computers with internet access for guests, though you usually have to wait for a computer to free up.
