Sutter's Fort
Originally built in 1839, Sutter's Fort is symbolic of the Gold Rush era in California. It is equipped with 12 cannons and a jail. Costumed docents re-enact living history as mountain men, traders, trappers and blacksmiths. View replicas of covered wagons or watch while docents make handicrafts. A self-guided audio tour is a good way to experience all this fort has to offer.

Park Nightclub
The Park is far superior to most other Sacramento clubs/lounges. It has a great atmosphere, safe environment and lots of fun people. I would definitely recommend this club to my friends.the food and service were superb. Had VIP service in the Ultra Lounge outdoors and the food, music, décor, design, ambiance and service were all very impressive. This club could compete with anything in LA, SF, London or NY. (I never thought I would ever be able to say that about a club in Sac.) The entire experience was flawless. Nice job to all involved with the concept. Fireplace, and waterfalls are nice touches.

Cathedral of the Blessed Sacrament
Across K Street Mall from the Regional Transit (RT) Cathedral Square train stop, is an edifice sculpted in the classic architectural mode. Patisian cathedrals such as Notre Dame inspired its theme, as evidenced by its ascending niched pillars directing worshipers' eyes upward to twin, asymmetrical bell towers. At the front entrance, a mountainous flight of stairs ascends to tall wooden doors. The interior has various saintly sculptures carved in wood, and well-worn wooden pews. A large circular, stained-glass window, crafted in Italy, illuminates the central altar.
