DV8 is one of the latter. From personal experience (a number of times), the establishment will leave you with a bad taste in your mouth wondering what in the world led you there. Their advertised specials are sometimes missing the fine print and, with the exceptions of a few, the wait staff and doormen are less than hospitable. Some of the biggest party nights you might even hear crickets chirping at DV8 due to the lack of people. If you are looking for good music and a venue with more people than you'd find in a urinal, don't go to DV8!
