The Doghouse
The doghouse started in March 2005, giving Halifax it’s first regular live music venue for the first time since 1992. Based upstairs in the Royal Oak, Clare Road, the venue provides a monthly mix of eclectic live music in front of interested and musically knowledgeable audiences.

Oakwell Hall
This sixteenth century English Estate was once the longtime home of the Batts Family. They left the property during the 18th century, and it was turned into a museum shortly after becoming public property. When it was first opened, hardly any of the original furnishings were in the house, but over the years, pieces have been collected and reproductions added.
