London Where to Go

London happens to be one for the biggest cites of the world. It is one of the most populous cites of the world. It is a very important political centre not only in Europe but also with reference to the world. It is a city which is visited by millions of people every year. One of the important industries of London which generates a lot of revenue for the city is the tourist industry.

A lot of tourists visit London every year, and the number is rising steadily. This is all because of a number of attractive places which are located in London. There is so much to do while you are in London.  Tourists generally worry that London being considered an expensive city but they do not realize that there are many things to do for free. You can enjoy lots of things from galleries to museums, music and walking tours for free.

Art Galleries

Tate Britain and Modern are the two national galleries for art featuring best of the artworks available across the world. The Modern part focuses on art that are contemporary and the Britain one features from the 16th century until today. London also offers National Portrait gallery and another in Trafalgar Square and advised is another which is just off the Oxford Street, Wallace Collection and they are perfect escape from busy areas.


All of the London museums are major and free. Some of them do ask for a fee but only when they feature special exhibitions. Favorite of all will be the London Museum where one can learn about the history of London from today dating back to the times of Roman. There are few more which are considered among the bests and they are V&A, British museum, national history and science museum.

Royal Parks

Queen Maryís Rose Gardens is the favorite spot in London in Regentís Park. There is also St. Jamesís Park which offers astounding views of Buckingham palace. Diana Memorial fountain and Peter Pan statue are featured in Hyde Park and is enormous.


Landmarks in London can be seen along this stretch and is an amazing sight to watch along the River Thames. This also includes London eye, Globe Theatre, Tate Modern and much more.

Changing of Guard

Visit to London is never complete unless you watch the tradition of military. Guard at Queenís London change inside the gates of Buckingham palace at 11:30 AM everyday. It is important to get there early and watch the spectacle from the gates.
