Here’s a suggested ‘to do list’ and ‘tips’ when inside San Diego.

• Go to the beach, even if you are not sexy enough to wear a bikini. Shop until you drop at Seaport Village - a beachside, outdoor shopping plaza where you can find practically ‘anything under the sun’. Don’t forget to wear a sunscreen, San Diego warm air and roasting heat from the sun may harm your delicate skin.

• Discover nature. Visit the San Diego Zoo and the Sea World. Look for rare animals and sea creatures you won’t normally see anywhere.

• Escape from the boredom of lectures when you are attending a convention. Gaslamp Quarter has the kind of food and drink you may want.

• Eat traditional Mexican food. Enjoy nachos and San Diego’s ‘catch of the day’ Brigantine style.

• Stroll along the canyons, hills and deserts, and then back to the beach for a good splash. Test your how your body’s thermostat adjusts to a much varied climate.

• If you don’t have much money, stay at the Days Inn for only $62 dollars enough. If you have wads of cash or a platinum credit card, stay at Omni San Diego Hotel. If you’ve lost your wallet, enjoy the amenities of the beach sand. Anyway, you don’t have to worry about rains when you’re there in July.

• Discover the great past of the Southerners; visit one of the museums of San Diego.

• Watch a major league event at QUALCOMM.

• Check that Old Town Trolley ride and listen to tales of the past from an academic tour leader.

• Visit the wineries and fill yourself with the best among the best white and red wines without spending a dime.  Free wine tasking open at a given hour in a day, so check your time to catch schedules.

• Check the City Hall information service for major/upbeat events, or watch CityTV24 from your Hotel room while unpacking your baggage.

But best of all, do anything under the sun! San Diego is such a funny sunny place.
