The name Air Milford is derived from one of New Zealand's most spectacular Fiords on the South Islands West Coast, Milford Sound.Hank Sproull joined the company in 1996 and took over as owner of the business in 1998. He continues to maintain a close involvement with the day to day management of the company. These pools opened in August 07 and do not seem to be very well known or promoted. We saw an ad in one of the local guide books.Pools are located 10 - 15 mins out of Queenstown and they have a free shuttle bus that picks up at "The Station" which is in central Queenstown. The complex consists of 6 private rooms which each have their own hot tub, heated to 39 degrees celcius. There is a retractable glass window which opens up to reveal a wonderful view of the shotover river, so you can sit in the tub and look out onto the view.
