Deering Estate of Cutler: This park has secured place in the natural environment of the city. It has an aura of adventurous and a mysterious place being way from the hurly-burly of the city. It remains closed on the days of Thanksgiving and Christmas.

Miami Metro Zoo: If one intends to see cageless zoo; it is the best place. It is the home for some of the rare species such as the royal white Bengal tiger, apes and giant eland are just to name few. 

South Pointe Park: This place is best for the purpose of a walk, or roller blade. If not anything, one can just enjoy watching people and going by cruises. Enjoy the lunch at an outdoor table before moving towards a short pier or the sand of South Beach.

Historical Sites and Museums

Historical sites and museums of any city add on to the charm of any place and thus make the tour worthwhile. 

Coral Castle: This castle has got listed on National Register of Historical Places and the time taken in its complete tour is about half and hour. Guides narrate the famous story of the last love of Ed (Latvian immigrant who created the castle) in English, German, French or Spanish.

Miami Museum of Science and Space Transit Planetarium: It is popular among the tourists as well as the locals.  One gets to see huge number of exhibits varying from virtual basketball to computerized dinosaurs. Visitors can also enjoy challenging sports over there.    

Miami Seaquarium: Adhere to the beauty of marine life here. It has a reef aquarium that is capable of storing about 750, 00 gallon saltwater with fishes varying in size, shape and color.  The visitors can themselves be a part of this exotic world as they can get into the water wearing wetsuits and come across these beautiful animals face to face.
