La Bess Movie, società di produzione cinematografica, viene fondata agli inizi del 2004 da Francesca Neri e Claudio Amendola, con l'intento principale di produrre opere di giovani registi e scoprire nuovi talenti.Oltre alla produzione di progetti propri, la Bess Movie si propone di operare sul mercato dell'audiovisivo, senza limitazioni di campo, anche nella produzione documentaristica e televisiva, oltre che come "service" per produzioni sia nazionali, che estere.

Housed in the Palazzo dell'Archiginnasio, the fascinating 17th-century Teatro Anatomico is where public body dissections were held under the sinister gaze of an Inquisition priest, ready to intervene if proceedings became too spiritually compromising. Cedar-wood tiered seats surround a central marble-topped table while a sculptured Apollo looks down from the ceiling. The canopy above the lecturer's chair is supported by two skinless figures carved into the wood.

A classic theatre, having been renovated multiple times over the decades, is a spot frequented by locals. Named after the 18th-century dramatist Carlo Goldoni, the Teatro Goldoni has seating for 800 and holds performances of all kinds. Concerts are sometimes held here thanks to the marvelous architecture, creating a great sound.
