You can find the mixing of Mexican flavors and tastes in the Texan food. Many of the activities and sports which are enjoyed in Texas are also loved in Mexico. The regional effect of being neighbors to Mexico and Caribbean Islands is very well pronounced in Dallas.

The city of Dallas has a vibrant cultural scene with Arts being at the forefront. The city has a great number of Arts centers. The renowned Arts District in the downtown area has numerous venues for Arts and entertainment. The district contains museums and Arts institutes and is a place worth visiting for Art lovers and aesthetically inclined people. The district also has the famous Booker T. Washington High School for the Performing and Visual Arts. The culture of Dallas is actually a mixture of more than one culture. Although one culture dominates in this mixture, but you can easily trace many impacts of other cultures in the culture of Dallas.
