Nightclubs in Brantford
Pourhouse Billiards & Night Club
We previously owned The Lil Big Horn in Cambridge, and although we were successful (two years in a row voted the Number One Country Bar in Eastern Canada by the Canadian Country Music Association) and filled to capacity most nights, we found there were too many nights of long lineups and too frequently we were forced to turn people away because we had reached our licenced capacity. We decided it was time to search for a larger building, and, in the summer of 2006 we successfully located our new location at 155 Lynden Rd., Brantford. We spent a month doing renovations and in September 2006, we forever closed The Lil Big Horn and opened our new home, under our new name Jackhammers Night Club.

Yuk Yuk's Komedy Kabaret
It was a time when disco hits climbed the charts and fended off light rock to hold mighty positions; a time when Hollywood films turned moody, even black with introspection. There were minefields of reactions to the first avalanche of corporate entertainment fluff, so it was no surprise that the emerging popular music of the day would be called punk and hurl vomit and reworked war songs into bruised yet ecstatic faces.

Royal Scottish Country Dance Society
The dance form is called "Scottish," and on special occasions many dancers wear their clan's tartan in kilts or sashes, but there is no requirement to be a "MacAnything". Scottish heritage is not needed to join this group of enthusiastic and friendly people.Dances are done to the traditional music of jigs, reels and strathspeys. The dancing pace, especially for jigs and reels, provides a good aerobic workout. The complex dancing patterns result in an equally good mental workout.
