Vancouver Museum

In the spring of 1894, a group of visionaries formed the Art, historical and scientific Association. Using borrowed artifacts and space they opened Vancouver's first museum Exhibition. A banner invited visitors to view "Paintings and Curios".The City Museum, and its collection, moved in 1905 to the Carnegie Library at Main and Hastings.

This is a nice gallery set in the heart of downtown in an old courthouse building. The art collection itself had its ups and downs, it gets better as you get to the upper floors.
