Balkan Restaurant

The Balkan restaurant first fired up its grill on Banff Avenue in 1982. The restaurant was the creation of Greek families out of their element in the cold Canadian Rockies who wished to bring the authentic flavors and warm festive atmosphere of the Mediterranean to this high mountain town.

Beaujolais

We ate lunch here and were impressed with the food and service. This is a white linen restaurant with sophisticated food, although they were gracious to a family with a small child during lunch. With all the rustic bonhomie in Banff, it was nice to have a refined meal with an excellent wine list.

Ticino Swiss-Italian Restaurant

Many returning visitors to Banff remember us from our old Wolf Street location. Back then there were only a handful of restaurants in town, and our dining room even had a dance floor and late night entertainment. After the 1988 Calgary Olympic Winter Games, commercial development in Banff started to explode.
