Library in Banff

The Library of Banff thinks so highly of its residential visitors that it welcomes them with a free membership.

 The Banff Public Library is proud of its accomplishment of being the first Library in Alberta to offer free membership. This is a very important step towards opening the doors, for those who found it financially out of their scope to have a membership, and therefore were not able to enjoy the many benefits that any Library has to offer.

This Library in Banff has made absolutely sure that its offers many different benefits and things of interest to its visitors. In addition to being able to enjoy the surroundings of the Library they have some online services as well, for example book renewals. This serves the people that always can’t go there themselves, or are not available through Library hours.

The Library in Banff makes sure it keeps a rotation of interesting events going. For example right now they have a reading scheduled by Betty Jane Hegerat who was the author of “Crack In The Wall”. Then following this event, there are three scheduled art exhibits to take place. This Library makes every effort to have ongoing events for every member of the family from young to old to enjoy.
