Weather Of Boston

It is located towards the North East of the North American continent but it is not as cold as expected due to the oceanic effect. The seasons are well defined as we find Boston Hot in summers while it is almost cold in winters.

Although the huge water body of Atlantic Ocean has its own effects on the climate, still the range of temperature is impressive. This difference in the temperatures of the two seasons is responsible for very different kind of activities which are carried out in Boston in summers and in winters.

Most of this rainfall is experienced in the months of November and December. The month of July is the driest. July receives less than 3 centimeters rainfall. The amount of rainfall received by Boston annually is almost equally distributed in all the months. July, November and December are exceptions. July is a bit drier while November and December receive more than average rainfall.
The climate over all is pleasant. The land breeze and sea breeze make Boston a better place to live. It is a bit humid as compared to the continental metropolitan areas due to the oceanic influence. The beaches and harbors remain open although the year due to the warmth of the famous ocean current, the Gulf stream. In the early autumn season the area some times receives few hurricanes. The coastal location makes Boston a possible victim of these storms and hurricanes in the autumn months.
