The main route and means of traveling while going to Boston from outside the United States is through air travel. Bostonís Logan International airport is the main entrance to Boston. It is located a few kilometers from downtown, which makes it very accessible to reach the city from the airport.

Car rentals are also available at the airport, where you can rent cars at hourly basis.

However, for tourists, it is more advisable to use train or bus services when arriving at Boston. Driving is quite confusing for new people with narrow roads and one way streets. The best option to take is the transit system, commonly referred to as ĎTí by the locals. Boston is a very dense city, and is just right for walking and cycling.
