The airport provides all the amenities imaginable to the passengers, and the airport staff is there to assist passengers in any way they would require assistance.
There are several ways to commute to and from the airport, a subway runs right from one of its terminals, taxis are readily available to take you to any part of the city, buses depart every half hour from the airport. Apart from all these, the airport also offers a shuttle service for passengers from the airport to the downtown Boston. Numerous car rental services are also available from the airport for visitors and tourists who want to have their own conveyance during their stay in Boston.
The airport has two levels, the upper level s for departures and the lower level is for arrivals, all the road going out and coming towards the airport are connected from the parking exit at the lower level. There are 2 main highways which connect the city to the airport and also encircle the city; they are I-90 and I-93. While coming out of Logan International Airport, you have to head towards the west side on the i-90, the road leads you to the Ted Williams tunnel on the west side, which later on connects to the city.
There are two options you can take while coming out of Logan International from the North End, one is to depart from the Ted Williams Tunnel towards the I-90 and take the West Exit number 24 and on to the I-93 running North and South, Secondly, you can also take the out going roads towards the route 1A on to the South End and take the summer tunnel towards the I-93 at the Northern End. While coming out of the South end, you can start from the Ted Williams tunnel towards the I-90 at its Exit number 24 on the West side and then connecting to the I-93.
While going towards the Logan International airport, if you happen to be departing the city from the West side of the city, take the I-90 highway on its East towards the Ted Williams Tunnel, and then go on to the East Exit number 26 towards the Logan International Airport. If exiting the city from the North End, there are again two options you can opt for, one is to take the I-93 South towards the 24B Exit at the Callahan Tunnel and the route is 1A North side of Logan. Secondly, you can also take the South Route 1, take an exit from Route 60 and then follow the sign boards onwards to the airport.
